Joseon Palace Courtyard in Spring

A bird's-eye documentary painting in the style of Joseon court record paintings (uigwe illusstration), depicting the inner courtyard of Gyeongbok Palace in spring. The tiled-roof main hall (with its characteristic blue-green dancheong painted brackets) anchors the upper center; cherry trees in full bloom line the stone-flagged courtyard. A ceremonial procession of court ladies in hanbok — layered jeogori and chima in pale pink, sky blue, and white — moves in orderly single file between two pavilions. A stone sundial and water-clock apparatus occupy the courtyard center. The painting uses a flat, elevated perspective and mineral pigments on mulberry paper; the royal tile roofs are rendered in deep blue-green, the stone pavement in pale grey, the blossoms in near-white with pink tips. No shading or Western perspective. The mood is ordered, ceremonial, and serene.

朝鲜宫廷仪礼记录画风格（仪轨图），俯瞰景福宫内庭春景。绘彩色丹青斗拱大殿为上方中心，石板庭院两侧樱花盛开。一列宫女着韩服——淡粉、天蓝与白色彩裙表衣——有序列队行进于两座亭楼之间。庭院正中置石日晷与铜漏水钟。楮纸矿物颜料，平面仰视视角，无透视阴影。皇家琉璃瓦屋顶绘深青绿色，石板庭院为浅灰，樱花以近白加粉尖描绘。气氛端庄祥和，仪式感浓郁。
