Ink-Wash River Valley at Dawn

A vertical hanging scroll in pure ink-wash (shuimo) style, referencing the Southern Song axe-cut and hemp-fiber texture strokes. The subject is a dawn river valley: the lower third shows a bamboo grove and two flat-bottomed boats tethered to a moss-covered stone pier, fishermen loading nets in pre-dawn silence. The middle section dissolves almost entirely into mist — white negative space punctuated by a lone heron standing in shallow water, rendered in four economical brushstrokes. The upper section presents a single overhanging cliff face with a cliffside pine, its roots gripping bare rock. The ink tones range from jet black (the pine's bark) through six graduated grays to the near-white of open water and sky. No color pigments whatsoever — the entire emotional range is achieved through ink dilution and paper absorbency. Two seals in red in the lower-right corner provide the only color accent. Mood: solitary, pre-dawn stillness, the sound of oars.

纯水墨立轴，参考南宋斧劈皴与麻皴技法。画面下部：竹林、两只平底木船系于青苔石墩，渔人晨曦前默默理网。中部几近全为留白——稀薄雾气中，一只白鹭以四笔写意立于浅水。上部：悬崖峭壁斜出，崖松根抓裸石。墨色从漆黑松皮过渡到六阶灰，至开阔水面的近白。全无色彩颜料，仅靠墨色稀释与纸张吸水表达情感层次。右下角两枚红色印章点缀唯一暖色。气氛孤寂清冷，仿佛能听见桨声。
